Lessons In Law Of Attraction: Seven Great Reasons To Celebrate

One of the secrets of successful manifesters is that they always find reasons to celebrate! Here are 7 reasons why celebrating is so important in manifesting with the Law of Attraction:

  1. It improves your mood – It’s hard to be down when you’re having a party. Even if it’s just a happy dance when your favorite song comes on the radio, celebrating always improves your mood.
  2. Keeps you focused on what you want – One of the rules of manifesting is to focus on what you want and ignore what you don’t want. When you’re celebrating you’re rejoicing in something happy which leaves little room for those “don’t wants” to creep in.
  3. Sends joy out to the Universe – We are constantly sending out vibes to the Universe. When you’re celebrating you’re sending out vibes like joy, happiness, delight, giddiness, and so on. And when you consider that the Universe reflects back what you send out, those things are pretty desirable vibes to be transmitting.
  4. Helps you feel successful – Celebrating and feeling successful go hand in hand. Think of how many celebrations you’ve participated in that are around accomplishments or happy occasions. Each time you celebrate a success, no matter how small, you give yourself a little more confidence that the next time will be a success too.
  5. Reminds you how important the small stuff is – When you take time to celebrate small things you’ll realize they add up to a general feeling of celebration about life which is very important in manifesting. So go ahead, celebrate that penny you found on the ground…it’s a message from the Universe that life is indeed abundant!
  6. Takes your mind off your worries – It’s hard to be down when you’re having a party. When you celebrate you focus on the excitement of the moment leaving very little space in your mind for your worries.
  7. Fosters appreciation and gratefulness – The more you celebrate the more you’ll find things to appreciate and be grateful for. Being grateful and appreciative is another secret of successful manifesters that’s well worth developing in yourself.

Teaching Your Children How To Complete Addition.

Adding is an idea that a significant number of students find hard to understand. Hopefully, this article will share some practical ideas to assist parents and teachers working with children who have difficulty when learning to add up.

Counting on is a technique that relates to your student’s ability to remember number names. Once your child can count to seven, practise asking them questions similar to: what number is 1 more than… (eg. what number is one more than two?) This is actually equivalent to solving an addition problem like 1+1, but highlights the relationship between the ideas of addition and number, which is a very powerful bond. Using this technique prepares your child to use number squares, and helps give them the confidence to tackle problems in their mind. It can be practised almost anywhere, and needs no preparation. This technique can also be extended, by asking: “which number is 2 more than…” Once your student can confidently complete these problems out loud, present them the written version, and tell them that this is the same as the activity you had been looking at previously. This should allow the student to see addition and counting as intrinsically related, and that the new problem is, in effect, an idea they have already encountered.

Most frequently, our ability to complete addition in our minds is derived from facts we have memorized. We do not have to work out the answer to 10 and 9, we simply remember it. Being able to remember a range of number facts lets us tackle many addition problems easily. Further your student’s knowledge of known number bonds by singing rhymes together which incorporate number stories. Try taking part in the game of matching pairs with the child, where the object of the game is identify the location of the question (for example 5+8) and its corresponding answer from a set of cards all turned face down. Assemble a pack of flashcards with simple addition facts written on them, display the cards one at a time, and ask your student for the answer, giving plenty praise when they say the right answer. When they are confident, add to the number of cards. Making the activity enjoyable will stop the child from seeing maths as unexciting, and will build confidence.

Practise makes perfect: and the right kind of practise also produces extra confidence. By making use of simple worksheets and printables, differentiated at the child’s ability, you will be able to greatly improve your child’s addition skills, both practically and in their head. There are a large number of sites on the web that offer worksheets and printables that help with the teaching of adding up; however, it is important which addition worksheets you use. Check that the worksheets are of an appropriate length to keep the student’s interest and are aimed at the right level, being neither too easy, nor too difficult. You should really be presenting sums that encourage their recall of number bonds together with a few new sums. When the child does well, offer plenty of praise; however, if they arrive at the wrong answer, don’t admonish them, but explain how to solve the problem correctly. Using calculation worksheets thoughtfully can really boost your child’s level of skill.

An excellent way of assisting children to secure basic addition skills is by allowing them to handle money. You being by putting out a few pennies and then tell your student to count the money, by touching the coins sequentially and counting aloud. For pennies, this is isn’t difficult at all, as you are only required to count up how many coins there are. Now make the activity more demanding, by putting in two pennies stuck together. When this coin is reached, say to your child that we are going to count it twice, because it is a ‘2′. Count each of the coins like before, tapping on each as you go; however, just before you get to the 2, tap it twice. Put in more twos, practising counting each one the appropriate number of times. This easy activity will help your child add up quite challenging sums of money without using any apparatus, and see the connection between addition and counting. Both before and after, tell the child that they are learning about how to add up.
